It was a lovely day as the birds chirped and the wisp of air carry out the sweet fragrance of blossoming flowers scattered exquisitely around the various flower beds. A perfect day it was, no doubt, to unsuspecting and carefree individuals strolling around the sun drenched pavement.

Dear Diary,

I'm sorry it seemed as if I've abandoned you this past couple of weeks. It's not you, it's me (and there goes the break-up line of the century). I've been preoccupied lately. With what (ok, with whom, more like) you already know. I can't help it diary, he's like an itch I can't scratch. Or an itch that I do want to scratch but can't because somebody else is supposed to scratch it already. Wait, what? That doesn't make sense. Oh, you know I suck at metaphors. Stop staring at me with that blank page and evenly spaced lines!

Daydream Believer

Like a celebrity, he walks again with that unidentifiable charm that brings heroines to their knees. At least in Sandy's eyes, that's what he's like. Even if he's not as immaculate in real life, in her mind, he is perfect, and that's all that matters.

He buys his lunch and obscurely steals a quick infinitesimal glimpse at her before settling down at a table with his friends. Sandy could not believe her eyes. Is this really happening?
